DEHN strengthens top management with COO

Christian Köstler, Dr. Philipp DehnDEHN Neumarkt – The managing directors Dr. Philipp Dehn (CEO), Dr. Peter Zahlmann (CTO) and Helmut Pusch (CSO) are now joined by Christian Köstler as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the top management of DEHN, one of the world's leading companies in the field of lightning and surge protection.

Christian Köstler studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MME). After that he earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Averett University, USA. From 2000 to 2015 he worked for the globally renowned German company STIHL in the USA and in Germany. His career began with a position as project engineer. That was followed by positions as Manager Special Projects, Manager Manufacturing Engineering and Machining and Director of Technology and Machining. In Germany, Mr. Köstler was active all over the world for Andreas STIHL AG as Director of Technology and Buildings and was responsible in this position amongst other things for global manufacturing technology, series start-up planning and the infrastructure planning for all sites. As Vice President Operations, he was in charge for managing a plant with 1800 employees and bearing the responsibility for the entire Operations sector incl. engineering, manufacturing/assembly, quality management, purchasing and logistics.

In his function as COO he will be responsible for all global operations within the DEHNgroup, including manufacturing, logistics, supply chain management, purchasing, quality management and building + infrastructure.
