Disposal of used batteries

Used batteries may contain harmful substances that could cause damage to the environment and human health. Therefore, they must not be disposed of in the general household garbage.

Furthermore, by collecting them separately, valuable raw materials can be recovered from the used batteries.

For this reason, please return used batteries or accumulators to suitable collection facilities, e.g. collection boxes of the GRS foundation (Common Recycling System of Batteries). For safety reasons, please cover the poles of lithium batteries with tape to avoid short circuits.
